Message After 4 long months of hard and grueling labor, I was finally able to drop that sucka` in and have been breaking it in for some time now. The project took a lot of energy, funding and patience. In the process, I did learn a lot and have to admit in making some mistakes as well. But it started on the first try with NO error codes so I think I did something right :)

I would also like to thank Greg Dupree for his excellent and honest advice, George Marinov for his outstanding prices and support, and Coz for his unsurpassed knowledge of Nissan PN’s and stocking of Z parts. Special thanks also goes to DamonZ, Greg (Dallas) and the TTZD community for providing us with this resource as well as the excellent FAQ's available here. All of these guys are truly a pillar to the Z community.

I did all of the labor myself including the polishing, porting and everything else I could think off. The only things I sourced out were the block boring/honing and valve job. The most challenging part of it was installing the transmission by myself with the gReddy piping and wastegates in the way, but the plenum takes the cake as far as amount of time it took to port/polish and clean that SOB (20+ hrs)
OK, here is what I went with:

---------------------------------------------------

* Wiseco Pistons 87.5mm Coated by Polydyne
* Stock Rods polished, radiused and balanced with new ARP bolts
* Stock rod and main bearings
* ARP main studs
* Stock head bolts

* Counterweight bolts welded
* Crank griddle polished and de-burred

Hardest Part: Lining up the tranny to go between the driver’s side dump pipe and the pass. Side waste gate. You have to angle is just right and practice on your bench pressing abilites quite a bit before it goes in. Special thanks to Seb for the tips given.

Forgot to rotate this one...

Now, if I can only keep myself from boosting for a while... :)

Later,
